Learn To Row Sweep II
July 6, 2019 – July 28, 2019

  • Saturdays and Sundays 7:00 AM -9:00 AM

$200
Membership not required. Must be 18 or older. 8 sessions. Min. 8, max 10 participants. Continue to learn the basic sweep rowing technique, how to handle equipment safely, rules of the boathouse, bay, and lake. Builds on LTR Sweep I. Preference given to LTR Sweep I participants. Rowers may take turns riding in the coach’s launch if an odd number of rowers shows up to row. Should be able to lift 50 lbs. Participants may become QRC members (discounted by $100) and participate in our successive programming.

Membership is NOT required. Must be 18 years of age. 4 sessions. Intended for beginners. May be taken independently of LT Scull 1-3. Learn boat handling and the fundamentals of the sculling stroke. This program prepares you for the Captain’s test, if desired. Participants may take additional non-member sessions and/or become QRC members (discounted by $50). Coach: Chris Noble. Min. 3, max 4 participants. Full refund if the program is cancelled due to min. number of rowers not being met.

Women’s Competitive Sweep

Membership required! Minimum age 18.
12 weeks. Min 8 rowers. Membership Required. Competitive rowers who desire to race & commit to regular workouts as a group and individually. Goal: to enter the most competitive boats at regattas. The coach will provide workouts and make boat lineups. Regatta costs are not included in the program costs. Price per rower is program cost divided by number of participants. Coxes provided.

12 weeks (2x/wk coached, 1x un-coached). Min 8, max 14 participants. Men’s Sweep & Sculling is for committed rowers who want to train with rigor and may compete a few times per season. Min. two years rowing experience required. Coxswains provided.
