Donahue Rowing Center
The DRC opened in 1992 as a center for rowing activities. It is located at the north end of Lake Quinsigamond in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. The center was constructed with a combination of a grant from the Massachusetts Office of Environmental Affairs and private contributions, most notable of which was that of the Irving James Donahue, Jr. family for approximately 20 percent of the $1.1 million project cost. In 2002 the center was expanded by 4 bays thanks to a generous donation from the Donahue family and the cooperation of the Alumni Association.
